    I switched to a Brother printer because I had had four HP printers and they seemed to need ink all the time or break down. Really like this Brother printer and ink. It doesn't seem to need a new ink cartridge all the time.

    The black colored ink has a really deep dark tone which last close to the number of sheets indicated on the box that can be printed from that cartridge. When the cartridge gets low you have to change it because printing stops.

    Was right up front which made it easy to find. Grabbed two since I am a student and use my printer a lot. When I got home I realized I was supposed to get the colored ink so I had to go back.

    Brother inks just don't last too long because of all the cleaning cycles the printers do. The quality of the ink itself is good though.
