Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the MFC-9130CW Color Wireless Laser Printer's excellent print quality and ease of use. Many appreciate its wireless functionality, straightforward setup, and reliable performance. The printer's value for the price point is also frequently praised. While some find it to be heavy, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this concern.

This prints excellent, on one side of the paper. They do make a similar model printer that prints on both sides

If I had this to do all over again, I would purchase exactly the same printer. More than meets expectations for home office needs. Good capabilities and high quality printing. Fits in small 18 x 19 space. Needs an appliance capable electrical circuit or lights can briefly go dim for a moment when printer starts. Yes I recommend.

Great printer.Ink jet cartridges last a couple months& expensive. If one color is low you will need to replace all.I purchased it about a year ago and the scanner/fax does not work no more! Not covered under warranty, so can not replace or return. Will not buy a brothers printer again!

Good features The touch display works great, it prints envelopes well, It scans well. It includes Nuances Paper Port for scanning. BBY had it on sale for 288, with a $50 gift card. A color all in one laser for 238 is a good deal. Google cloud print Bad It's slow (well it's color), It's tall and heavy. Ugly This printer is limited to wireless. My first one would stay connected on the first day. The wireless on the second is sporadic. I have to use it with a USB cable on my desktop, and share it out so I can print from my laptop. The only reason I don't return it to BBY is it's heavy and large, A pain to re-package and carry.

    Does not print fast...general problems

I looked at reviews and saw that on both Bestbuy and Amazon it has a great reviews. I purchased and immediately regret, needless to say its going back. The review on cnet talks about the ethernet port, this model does not have one, the reviewer must have mistaken the models. Printing over WiFi is ridiculous when the files are even a decent size. At the time of this review the printer is printing 25 pages, it has taken 8 minutes so far. This is completely unacceptable for a $400 laser printer. My old $50 inkjet was faster and it was wired! The CDW version does have wired for additional $50, which is crazy.

Purchased this as my first home laser printer - rather disappointed with the print quality, unless it's something I'm doing, I don't see any great difference between this printer and an inkjet. Not what I hoped for when starting out with some graphic design projects. Also had a difficult time configuring for wireless connection (no USB cable available) on Windows 10.

Don't waste your money. I bought 3 for office use and all three have been replaced within a year of purchase. They handle less than 10,000 pages before parts go bad and need replacement.

Decent printing but worthless wireless connection

I have had this printer for about 3 months and use all aspects of it, print, scan, copy. The functioning of these are OK, and it works pretty fast. The real problem with it is connectivity, since multiple computers connect to it, and it will not print wireless even when it says its connected to the network without unplugging and replugging it back in and cycling back on. Some may think thats OK, but its a huge hassle. I have spent an hour on the phone five different times with Brother tech, and they all think that they have fixed it, but everytime it goes back to sleep, it will not connect to print, its been extremely frustrating, I am now ready to ask them to buy it back.

I bought one of these MFC 9... series printers because I need a heavy duty laser printer that I could depend on for my small business. Everything about Brother can best be described by the phrase "Oh Brother!"!!!! First of all you get this 200 pound monster printer that can handle less than 100 pages in the feed drawer... What is that? Then it started jamming within a month of purchase and finally got to the point where it would not feed at all. I have a 200 pound boat anchor waiting for the next electronic junk pickup! I called Brother and got a royal run around. Customer Service? You get some third party country who knows where... They can barely speak English let alone help you! Save you money, buy a well know reputable brand like HP or Cannon! Stay with a company that cares about quality over moving product out the door of the store.

    Missing some basic abilities

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This all-in-one printer is incapable of automatically printing double-sided documents. You have to manually feed the paper to get it to print double sided. That is a deal breaker for me. The manual feeder is poor and often claims paper jams with no paper in it. Even the most basic machine pitched for businesses should be able to print double-sided documents automatically. Color printing was fair. Red looked like orange but the detail was all right. Text printing was fine.

Will be returning to store after 2 days. Connection to Wi FI is easy but then none of your laptops or phones will find it in the network .Connects only when you reset the whole printer but it will not find it after a while.
