My old printer had started to go sideways on me and I decided it was time to find a new printer that wouldn't give me the headaches that my old one did. Enter Brother. I had origninally gone into a store to look and find one there, but they were out of stock, so I had to resort to ordering it online. Read the reviews, and with a final nudghe from a friend, decided to pull the trigger on this printer. It has been eveerything I could've wanted. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the ink cartidges seem to run out relatively quickly. Granted, I have printed a couple documents that were about 60 pages each and I'm still using the cartidges that came with the printer. I'm sure the High yield cartidges will work even better and have longer life. Plus, they're cheaper than the cartidghes for my old printer were! The paper tray has a huge capacity and the only way you'll run out of paper is if you're printing 60 page documents like I do. In conclusion, this is a wondeful printer and was pretty much exactly what I was hoping for and needing.

It works as it should then some, I would recommend this all-in-one printer.

This printer maybe ancient but easily one of the best printers. Very easy to use

I use this product occasionally at home and has been very efficient and easy to use. I like the upper compartment for paper because this way you can scan multiple items without opening the top. Great value.

Great printer easy setup and compare to HP and Epson I like this printer better.

This is a new version of a past Brother Printer I own. The printer works excellent, great print quality and also works wirelessly from my iPhone…. A great convenience!

Easy setup and quality printer for the price. Great value. Prints well and was easy to setup with the WiFi. Now we can print from anywhere. Ink is not cheap, but they have a nice subscription if you do a lot of printing.

I purchased this based on the overall positive reviews, which were 100% correct. Set up was very easy. However, there was one review that mentioned the print quality which I found to be true. It prints very light almost faded. The black and colors are not sharp at all! I had also purchased from a different website the XL cartridges and they barely fit! They were slightly bigger than the regular cartridges. As far I could tell, they were authentic Brother cartridges. They were hard to install, the fit was very tight, so much so the cartridge door wouldn't close. I returned those and kept the regular cartridges that came with the printer. I only needed it for light to moderate home printing but I am returning it because of the very light print quality. I looked online and there didn't seem a way to make it print any darker. If that is not an issue for you then this printer is fine.

Easy set-up, prints and scans far faster than the unit it replaced. First Brother equipment I've owned - very pleased about a month into the experience

My HP 6970 inkjet printer of 6 years broke and after doing some research it seems like that’s about the life expectancy of a lower end inkjet printer. Knowing that I’ll need to replace them about every 5-7 years, I wanted to find a cheaper one. I’m about a year into using this Brother printer and it’s done everything I need it to for about half the price of similar HPs. It is a good budget printer.

I bought a brother MFC-J1010DW. It is just a basic all in one printer. I brought it home and followed the instructions for hook up. It was super easy. I have scanned, copied, and printed with no problems. I had a HP envy and it was a nightmare. I definitely like my new brother printer. I recommend this printer for home office purposes.

Great for home light office printing jobs. Does the job well and easy to use. Brother printers have been more reliable than some of the other brands in my opinion.

Very easy to install so far its working great ink quality is great.

So far so good with this Brother - MFC-J1010DW Wireless Color All-in-One printer. we purchased it after our HP died and it is fast, quiet and prints very well. The setup was relatively easy except for the size of the display. It is tiny and once you have it set up it's no problem but when I was trying to connect it to our router I had a hard time keying in the password. I am an old person with poor eyesight BUT they could have done a little better IMHO. All in all it's a great printer so far. I would highly recommend it.
