However, as a long time Brother MFC printer user, I can say this is one of the best ones I have ever owned. I especially like the print from cell phone feature. Actually, considering its low cost and its multiple features, it’s quite a deal. Recommended.

This one seems to struggle with maintaining connection and always says it’s offline when it’s actually connected to WiFi. I don’t like the fact that you have to subscribe to refresh ink services and you can’t just buy ink from the app directly. You also have to pay monthly just to print pages which I think is a scam but I don’t know if that’s what all printer companies do these days.

I use a Mac and the software is straight forward to use, but navigating the website is strange. Locating the necessary software was a bit of a chore. Doing the required install of the current firmware was a challenge. After a bit of fooling around I've got the printer icon in my dock and the printer's responses for printing and scanning are immediate
