    After one year it breaks

    It was great while it lasted. And then 12 months 3 weeks later the sensor started malfunctioning that says the printer cartridge is in. I've tried troubleshooting it for 48 hours and the printer is broken. So if you want the printer to last more than one year, do not buy the sprinter

    Is getting an instruction manual too much to ask for?. Go online and download it. pages of safety instructions that only an idiot would need but never read. More bell’s and whistles than the brothers printer it replaced but slower than molasses.

    Printer price was a very good printer and low in cost. The printer cartridges are much cheaper than the current printer that I had to replace. Great product!

    Great printer. Sometimes it randomly acts up and disconnects from our wifi and I restart it and it works.

    Black Ink hard to get

    Unable to buy black ink cartridges, even from company, separately. Must subscribe to their "auto" resupply. Whether this is intentional or not, not sure. I would suggest, unless you want to subscribe to an ink replacement program, to ensure that you can buy any of the ink cartridges separately from the store you are buying the printer from.

    Had a problem in setup and when I callled brother tech support they said I had to pay them Bec the prob was my computer. I figured it out on my own & got it working. Buyer beware. Machine itself is cheap but works

    I just needed a decent printer for at home. It works but prints a little slow. The ink that was included didn't seem to last very long.

    After looking at other printers in this price range and reading and watching a few reviews, I decided to purchase this, so far I am extremely happy with it, it feels so much better built than the others I was looking at,

    Set up was confusing it requires you use the app from brother. it prints pretty slow, but it is the cheapest printer I could find from brother I got it because my HP printer requires the subscription for ink cartridges so far I do not know if this one requires a subscription subscription is available it appears

    I have never used a Brother printer before. But this is seamless experience. The setup was smooth, printing and scanning was excellent. So far, so good.

    Slow color printing.

    Color printing is slow. Little tiny screen is hard to read. Wi-fi could not be set up. Needed to use USB. Otherwise, it functions well and looks great for this price.

    This printer is not as user friendly as the previous Brother printer we owned. It is more difficult to make changes as the only place you can get help is to get the user manual on line.

    Works well. The wireless connection to computer and cell phone was a little difficult to set up but once I was able to do so, it has been fine. Fax prints very clearly.

    Get INKvestment instead of Inkjet

    Good but inkjet is a thing of the past. Too costly. Today it’s best to get eco tank printers (Epson) or INKvestment tank (Brother) to get lots of ink at an affordable price.

    it is my bad i shouldnt have selected a cheap deal, from a brand that is mostly dead. With convoluted support and unsuable software together with a very expoensive ink cost. This is the worst printer i ever had, it is basically unsuable and can't count with it printing without some serious trouble shooting.

    I bought this printer for my daughter-in-law. I’ve had a Brother printer for several years and love it. Copies turn out great, crisp and clear! Would definitely recommend this printer.
