I have only bought and used Brother brand printers since purchasing my first computer in 2005. I liked that they use four individual ink cartridges versus the other brands' single multi-color - more cost effective. But this new printer's color quality is poor compared to my old one when printing photos - the colors just don't match and adjusting settings doesn't help. I paid full price $100 after waiting for a sale to replace my old one.

i like this printer not too big and not in the way....set up was hard but thank goodness for my geek squad got me up and running in no time i am happy with my purchase

Printer functions well. Printing is a little loud. Replacement ink cartridges are relatively more costly because it is difficult to get generic or refurbished cartridges.

Very easy to set up and get running. Print was good. This is my 2nd Brother printer. Very Satisfied!

Very difficult with little instructions. Print quality is poor and very bad set up instructions. Seldom use and both a better brand.

Easy to connect/ the colored ink is too dull for photos or flyers

I purchased this printer after my canon printer started having problems with printing correct colors and tried to correct the problem by cleaning the print head. This resulted in the ink absorber becoming full and still the colors were not printing correctly. This new printer was very easy to set up and has been printing very well in both black and white and color and I believe the ink will be less costly than with the canon.

This was a huge upgrade from the Canon copier we had. It does go through the black ink fairly quick, but the Bluetooth printing is a great feature.

Great smaller compared to my larger laser Brother printer. But it is very loud when it prints.

This is an excellent printer for the price. I have used several wifi printers and always struggled to set-up wifi connectivity, however wifi set-up for this printer was a breeze.

This was pretty easy to set up. It's discovered right away by Apple devices, so printing from iPads and iPhones is really simple. This was my first time installing a printer in a metal container, and so I didn't take into consideration the temperature. During the morning meetings we're unable to print to it due to the low temperature. Other than that it works like a champ.

Works very well, however, does not hold as much paper as I would like.

I had Brother printer which lasted over 12 years. That is the reason I bought another Brother printer.

Seems much too complicated----my last printer was definitely easier. Would not purchase this brand again.

Needed to replace a printer and did not want one that required an ink subscription. This checked off all of the boxes and didn't break the bank.

Horrible. Lasted 1 year. Continuously could not be located on my network by multiple computers, phones & tablets. Every time I wanted to print I had to reset the router / internet, restart my computer, uninstall the printer driver and reinstall. I purchased a new computer, same problem. I upgraded to a mesh router system + tripled my network speed, same problem. Very disappointing. I had similar problems with my previous Brother printer, but assumed it was the age of the printer, clearly it's the brand.
