Brother Printer gets the job done

Starter ink has lasted for quite a bit even after printing off several photos on high quality paper. Really nice colors, nicely pigmented

Three months later and the paper is always jamming. It prints pdf a little better but the lines come out crooked (i.e. looks like someone pulled the paper out too fast while printing). It scans and copies just fine, but printing is always giving me a paper jam error even when there is no jam. My older brother printer did not give me any issues like this.

I should have checked that out before I bought it. The printer will not scan small objects like a credit card or drivers license. It Hass to be fairly large for the scanner to work. I had a hard time figuring out how to print from my computer. The directions are not very good.

It worked well for about 9 months but the color stopped working. The black is a little faded now even with new ink. It had a strong start though and it still prints black. I think maybe I got a bum one. I didn't connect the wifi because of the tiny keypad was too much for me.

Printer isn’t compatible with non brother ink cartridges and brother cartilages are very expensive and doesn’t last more than 200 pages. Additionally, print speed isn’t good same like canon printers which you buy in 40 dollars. If you want to buy this don’t buy from Best Buy, customer service isn’t that friendly and knowledgeable they try to waste you time and play the referral games.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this printer was a huge pain to connect to wireless, printed two documents, and then demanded a refill of ink to work anymore. i didn’t want to get a subscription, so bought a refill at the office store locally, and it lasted for ONE WEEK with about five print jobs. the machine won’t work without so much effort. doesn’t stay connected to wifi. the subscription is expensive and absurd, and the machine won’t just PRINT stuff. so annoying. threw it out. literally.
