Decent home printer. Easy set up. Easy to use. Wireless connection. Compatible with my MacBook Pro and the Monterey operating system. Bought this model to replace another Brother printer (MFC-J475DW), that I really liked but Brother is no longer updating printer drivers for this model and Mac operating systems. Extremely frustrating. Old printer worked great and feel like this is forced obsolescence of a still good machine designed to get people to buy new products prematurely.

Haven't had it long so I haven't had a chance to put it through its paces. Biggest issue was that the 3 color ink cartridges provided were all low on ink, with the yellow nearly empty. I would have rated lower but I can't hold it against the printer that I got shortchanged on the ink.

Easy setup. Excellent performance. Great value for basic printer, copier and fax functions. Reasonable ink prices for refills relatively speaking.

This is a great printer at a very reasonable price! Does everything I need. I would definitely recommend it to others. Reasonably priced toner cartridges also!

Very good printer, prints rapidyl. My only criticism is that it is loud. Excellent value at a very low price.

Unable to readily set up wireless printing. I had older model of this printer, that consistently jamed paper. I brought old printer in for repairs ( im a total bb member, or what ever its called now) and once i arrived at store the ink in printer had leaked out and started to leak out of the container i was carrying it in. So buying a new one seemed easier then repairs and cleaning the old one...plus the price was right. Its just one more tech frustration for this old man.

The printer itself is great. Prints fast, no issues connecting to wifi. It was a little annoying to set up bc there are no instructions -- they keep prompting you to visit and site or dl the app, but I'd prefer instructions on paper or thru a single video -- and it took some googling to figure out the admin password. The interface with the panel isn't the best either, a little cumbersome. But I would have kept the printer if not for one thing: INK IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND! Amazon sells a color pack for an EXORBITANT PRICE! The black you have to buy separately and it's unavailable. Basically, once you run out of ink, the printer is useless unless you're willing to pay thousands a year for ink supply. I'm a student and I print all my PowerPoints for school, so I go thru a lot of ink, and this model just won't work for me when an ink pack that'll last me a month at best costs $70!

the instructions are not easy enough in setting up the printer. No owners Manuel is supplied with the printer to fully explain all functions and operation instructions.

Excellent Printer .BEWARE of bogus website that’s looking to rip up the wifi connection a widow opens and states : Contact the administrator .Char box appears.Responding to her basic questions, she advises me to wait between 5 and ten minutes for a call back .Sure enough a call comes from 402 area code. The gentleman hooks up to my computer via program and we discuss why the Mac cannot find the printer. Right at that moment I knew I was in a bogus scam website. For a small fee of 89.95 they will clean files so the connection can be restored.
