    Set up is rather difficult. Brother has recently updated the software downloads. Direct cable connect my PC is not recognizing the printer. I have printed a photo and the quality is poor. This is just on paper.

    Decent printer, feel the head cleaner the Brother does at random times wastes ink and ink is expensive!

    First prints come out very fast and look fine. I use a Mac and the software is straight forward to use, but navigating the website is strange. Locating the necessary software was a bit of a chore. Doing the required install of the current firmware was a challenge. After a bit of fooling around I've got the printer icon in my dock and the printer's responses for printing and scanning are immediate
