    The set-up was somewhat expected, not bad. But, seriously printing on this machine is not easy, confusing page sizes and every time I open the paper tray it feels like a very cheap printer. I am returning mine today.

    LIKE ANY OTHER NEW PRINTER A PAIN IN THE #SS TO SETUP. DOWNLOADING DRIVERS AND SETTING UP WIFI. TOOK A WHILE TO GET IT ALL GOING. BUT I'M PRETTY HAPPY WITH IT.

    I do not recommend this printer. The ink is difficult you have to buy the whole colors that don't last

    Bought this printer to replace my old one that was using too much ink. This is the first Brother printer I have purchased and so far seems to work fine.

    Keep looking until they produce ink!

    Would be a great printer if you could buy ink. Don’t buy it until Brother releases a firmware update that doesn’t require all cartridges to be full or they actually sell ink!!!!

    Printer works, basic and reliable, but not without ink. I have not been able to buy black ink, so it no longer is worth anything.

    Burns through ink like nobody's buisness. Also will not allow you to sign up for the "free" 6 mo of ink. Oh and if you have a iphone, it wont accept pics also cannot connect with Safari on their website.

    Does not work!! I paid extra to have a Geek Squad come out & set up…took a long time for him to figure it out…and the printer does not even work

    Nice printer, does what I need it to do. Ink is cheaper than most...generic inks not available yet. I have always had good luck with Brother printers

    The black ink for this machine is impossible to find at any stores. Big mistake buying this one. I will be purchasing a new printer that uses toner. This was a waste of money.

    I should have just stuck my money in the garbage disposal and turned it on. Prints when it wants to but mostly it doesn't print.

    Brother has been unable to keep ink in stock for the last several months, and the printer immediately recognizes and refuses to use third party products. Avoid like the plague.

    Do not buy! No black ink is available for months. Brother’s customer service said sorry, check back in several weeks. Amazon sells black ink in a set with color ink, which is a waste of course if you print primarily documents.

    Do not purchase!!! Black ink has not been available for weeks ANYWHERE and the printer will not work without black ink. I have only had the printer for 7 months and feel desperate enough to buy a new printer (not Brother), because no one seems to know when black ink will be in stock.

    Ive set up several printers before I still havent been able to set this one up. The display keypad is difficult to use.
