I don't print photos or a lot of graphics, primarily just office text, email etc... This is the second one I have bought, for my SIL. My first one is still running 2 years later...

It Prints!!

Installation was easy with the PC, but with the Mac, all the functions don't appear to work with the MacBook Air ( the iPrint and Scan function don't appear to work with the MacBook Air). I can print from the MacBook Air. If I only had a MacBook and not a PC I would not recommend this printer, based on my experience.

Brother MFC-J1010DW

This Brother was easy to set up. Prints fast and good quality. Great for a home office. So far the ink that came with it is lasting a while. Also helpful.

Warning deceptive practices by Brother

The problem came when I tried to install it to my Windows 10 computer. I called Brother Support and their tech said that I needed to have a windows 11 license. I agreed to the amount and he installed the printer. I then went Best Buy tech, he said my prossessor was not compatible.Brother gave me back all except $100 for the install. I think this is deceptive. They should have told me the support’s cost for installation upfront. I’m writing this to warn others of these deceptive practices.

I can use it for work to scan multiple things on top or individual on the glass. Big time saver to be able to scan multiple sheets at the same time. Couldn’t find that option in any other printers except ones that were more expensive. Prints fairly fast. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a bargain printer that does what most people need it to do.

It is slightly heavier than other printers that I have owned, but still not strenuous. It is user friendly, prints quickly, and performs all of the tasks that is necessary for printing, scanning, wireless printing, and faxing. I highly recommend given the quality and the price.

The price is reasonable and print quality is excellent. But, what I like best is the ease with which I was able to set it up. Great by for home use.

Great Printer for the Price!

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Forgot My Extra Ink but it did come in handy when needed as well as neighbors asking to borrow some paper and for me to print. they asked for basic print outs of their memories and were shocked on how well it came out on the Multipurpose Paper from BestBuy and how they bought themselves a printer same night and bought the exact printer! Get you one today and setup was east as well as printing and great scanning!
