    In order to use this printer wirelessly it needs to be within 2 feet of the router, so this is not in the same room as my computer. It has proprietary software that has to be used to scan, even though there is a scan button on the All-in-One. To scan a multiple page two sided document you place paper on scanner, go to computer click scan, go back to All-in-One and flip the paper over, go back to computer click scan, go back to scanner for the next page more of the same..... This will not work wirelessly without the proprietary software. I actually called Brother to confirm the processes, and questioned the claim that you could scan from All-in-One or computer, that is only if the computer is attached to All-in-One with a USB cable. I think there might be an app you can use from your phone, also not advertised. I expect better than this from Brother.

    Worked really well right out of the box. Starter ink has lasted for quite a bit even after printing off several photos on high quality paper. Really nice colors, nicely pigmented

    The ink for the printer is outrageous. I should have checked that out before I bought it. The printer will not scan small objects like a credit card or drivers license. It Hass to be fairly large for the scanner to work. I had a hard time figuring out how to print from my computer. The directions are not very good.

    I'm a year in owning this product. It worked well for about 9 months but the color stopped working. The black is a little faded now even with new ink. It had a strong start though and it still prints black. I think maybe I got a bum one. I didn't connect the wifi because of the tiny keypad was too much for me.

    If I wanted to design a printer for the express purpose of irritating myself, not working properly, not being easy to set up, and being a total waste of time and money, I would simply buy the Brother MFC-J1010DW. I have never purchased a more frustratingly poorly designed hunk of plastic than this printer. Nothing worked. In fact, I couldn't return it fast enough and it was only because I had to return it for a refund that I didn't set it out on my lawn and smash it with a sledge hammer. DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. PRINTER.
