    this printer was a huge pain to connect to wireless, printed two documents, and then demanded a refill of ink to work anymore. i didn’t want to get a subscription, so bought a refill at the office store locally, and it lasted for ONE WEEK with about five print jobs. the machine won’t work without so much effort. doesn’t stay connected to wifi. the subscription is expensive and absurd, and the machine won’t just PRINT stuff. so annoying. threw it out. literally.

    Excellent printer that replaced an Epson that quit printing after a couple of years. Ink looks easy to replace. Will see how long this one lasts.

    My last Brother lasted for over a decade, so I thought the next one would be just as reliable. Boy, was I wrong@ I bought this in January, and it bricked on me after almost 6 months to the day - quite the coincidence. When I checked for a solution online, I found that this was not only a common problem, but Brother now follows HP's example and purposely bricks their own products as they see fit, forcing consumer to continually buy poorly-built printers and/or send in products for expensive repairs. Long story short: Get something that is not built to die... and this is most definitely not it.

    Fast and works very well over WiFi with my iPhone and Mac. I like the paper tray in the bottom which keeps the new papers clean and dent free.

    Very slow but does the job this device uses medium to large amounts of ink so seems it may be hard to access the ink at times and it can be expensive. This was a replacement for me because HP seemed to try to take over my printer so I went with a printer that allows my privacy and manuel full control.
