Was easy to set up and get working using the installation instructions that were included. Easy to use my laptop using our WIFI so no cables to run from here to there!

I did my homework and the reviews were so positive for this Printer. Especially those that had poor exerience with the other two name brand printers. I just wanted a simple setup - no WIFI - and that's what I got. Easy to use! Love it!

Always used HP printers , they work well but all have died after time , but not a lot of use . Trying the Brothers hoping it will last longer . Time will tell .

Compatible with my MacBook Pro and the Monterey operating system. Bought this model to replace another Brother printer (MFC-J475DW), that I really liked but Brother is no longer updating printer drivers for this model and Mac operating systems. Extremely frustrating. Old printer worked great and feel like this is forced obsolescence of a still good machine designed to get people to buy new products prematurely.

Biggest issue was that the 3 color ink cartridges provided were all low on ink, with the yellow nearly empty. I would have rated lower but I can't hold it against the printer that I got shortchanged on the ink.

It was a little annoying to set up bc there are no instructions -- they keep prompting you to visit and site or dl the app, but I'd prefer instructions on paper or thru a single video -- and it took some googling to figure out the admin password. The interface with the panel isn't the best either, a little cumbersome. But I would have kept the printer if not for one thing: INK IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND! Amazon sells a color pack for an EXORBITANT PRICE! The black you have to buy separately and it's unavailable. Basically, once you run out of ink, the printer is useless unless you're willing to pay thousands a year for ink supply. I'm a student and I print all my PowerPoints for school, so I go thru a lot of ink, and this model just won't work for me when an ink pack that'll last me a month at best costs $70!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent Printer .BEWARE of bogus website that’s looking to rip up the wifi connection a widow opens and states : Contact the administrator .Char box appears.Responding to her basic questions, she advises me to wait between 5 and ten minutes for a call back .Sure enough a call comes from 402 area code. The gentleman hooks up to my computer via program and we discuss why the Mac cannot find the printer. Right at that moment I knew I was in a bogus scam website. For a small fee of 89.95 they will clean files so the connection can be restored.
