The printer is fairly nice. Print quality is good. However, it seems like it takes longer than usual to retrieve the data and wait for your page to print.

just prints too slow, there (brothers) customer service is BAD, they do not understand the question. Is there a way to speed the printing, took 3 call outsourced with no definite answer. gave up!

The brother MFC-J485DW is great little printer. It's a little slow to start but once it gets printing it get's the job done. And fact that it has a duplexer makes it even better.

This is a great multi-function printer. I love that it has individual cartridges for each of the colors as well as offering high capacity cartridges. I've bought one for each of my family members (total of five) so obviously I think it's a great buy!

We've had this printer for about 2 weeks now and it works great. It was super easy to set-up and use. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we have only had it for 2 weeks.

Printer works well. Wireless connection is relatively easy to set up. Ink cartridges do not last all that long. If unused for any length of time they seem to dry up. Otherwise, good value.

got it on sale so decided to pull the trigger on it. The complaint I have is with the way color photos come out, I feel as if my HP printer prints out better quality photos

Again, one of those products that I bought for light duty work. And it does that. Heavy users won't like this. The ink will run out to fast. BUT, for someone that doesn't need to print a ton.

I bought this to use in my office at work. I mainly wanted it to use for scanning documents as I have to scan a lot. For scanning, it works great. It does work with Windows 10. It's OK for printing. The print quality isn't the greatest and it's a little loud and slow, but like I said, I mainly use it for scanning. It does have an auto document feeder which is a nice. For the price it's a decent printer. I got it on sale, but have seen it at an even lower price point which would be more in line with what I'd pay for it now that I own and use it.

Prints look great for the price point of this model. Unfortunately it does not show up on network and I often must print through USB interface.

My printer stopped working so in reading up on all types and prices for a replacement this, I believe, was a GREAT choice! And what you get for the price can't be beat... Highly recommend this printer, fax, copier and scanner...

This printer works wonderful. Also, the price was in my budget. Always get a great deal at Best Buy. Only paid $42.00 with a $5.00 coupon included. Can't wait for my next great deal.

Seems to work well--haven't had any problems thus far. Recommended by a tech-savvy friend. Less "attractive" than some others, but it is well constructed and looks to be "built" to last.

It works great......every function. Printer a little slow but enough if you need just a few documents. For photos better a different one. Several functions for a low price.

This printer is very slow at printing. It takes forever to print if there is color.

Good for the price. 3rd Party inks cheap and readily available. Fax and scanner function as expected. Printing is slow. Text quality Ok, not very good for photographs. Individual color ink cartridges. Worth the price at $45/

I cannot believe the quality of this printer for anywhere near the price. It is built like a tank. Printing is fast and sharp. Very quiet. Had an Epson and it was not even close in quality even though it was more expensive.

Over the years I have used several All In One Printers and this unit stands head and shoulders above all of them. I have had zero problems with this Brother and it performs outstanding. I highly recommend this printer.

The printer is great for the price paid. I does take a little bit of time to print but overall it is good printer. To replace the color ink is not to pricey like other printers.

Brother printers already have a great reputation, but this printer does auto duplex (double-sided) printing, does photos better than my color laser printer does and I haven't had a moment's issue with it.
