This unit has more than what we need, but hey you never know. We did have a problem connecting to chromebook but a second call to their help line got me set up for wifi.

I purchased this printer after buying a trusted Epson printer. The wells on that printer jammed while it was still under warranty, so I returned it and purchased a Brother printer. I've had this brand before and it gets the job done.

It's a good printer. The only problem is that the instructions are not intuitive. It's been a bit more complicated to use. Once I got the directions down, it works fine.

I like Brothers printers. Not 100% happy with this one. IT seems to use ink fast. I've had to put on Gray scale, and lower the quality to make the ink last longer. And I HATE that if the black goes out, the system won't work. OR if any color is out it wont work. I think they all have that gimmick. I've also had 3 times it just says theres a problem and can't find any paper jammed anywhere. I print a lot, so I should have bought one that was a little heaver duty. If you do light printing, it should be good for you.

Even though there's more cartridges, it's efficient because when one of them is out, you just replace the color you need. No more waiting for the whole color cartridge to empty and no more to having color replacements in the copy.

The price of the printer is really good from bestbuy. Good for home use if no requirement on printing quality or speed

Have owned this Printer for about a month. Works very well; love the 2-Sided Printing feature. Could not get it setup on the Wi-Fi, but was finally able to set it up with the USB. I am not a Techie, so it could be User issue?!?

I bought this for my daughter in college because reviews noted it had one of the most economic cost per printed page ratios. The reviews/articles were correct. We're very happy with it. Plus the prints are nice quality.

I owned two Brother printers and this one to replaced HP printer that is so expensive on the ink cartridges. I opted this one since their ink cartridges are reasonably priced.

The main purpose to buy this printer because I want to use the scanner. The color ink for this printer is kinda expensive. The Brother is very good on the printer

The printer works well. The only problem we are having is that we weren't able to send a fax. We tried it many times but it just didn't go through. What should we do?

Works good very clear copies the down side is that it looses WiFi settings and you have to reset I bought it for the wireless do you can copy from smart phone

Replaced an HP printer than finally broke. Loved the HP printer but hated th cost of the ink. Went with a. Rather for lower cost of ink. A bonus is AirPrint.

Not a whole lot of extras, but product is clearly advertised. Appreciate the paper tray. If you don’t mind switching paper when you want to go from printing letter to 4x6 photos, then you can’t beat the price.

No complaints whatsoever about this al-in-one .Does everything I've told it to flawlessly. Excellent photo quality. TBH, I haven't used it a whole lot, since I have a Brother laser printer which I use when I don't need color.

This Brother printer was recommended to me by a friend. It has worked great and served my needs for a reliable printer at a great price. I recommend it to my friends now.

I had this printer for just over two years. I had a Best Buy Geek Squad protection for two years, and of course, the printer just died in 2 years in 3 months, lol. It was not worth repairing it; I understand the company makes money on selling the ink, not printers. It was working fine those 2 years lol I got a new printer, just a different brand this time, we’ll see

Great support from Brother via telephone. Wish I had noticed it is not set up for photos. Scan, fax and copy functions easy to navigate. Nice piece for the moderate price.

I purchased MFC-J485DW 2 months before, i like the printing qulity. Ink price is also reasonably less compare to other sellers. Only concern is printing is slow.

Since I rarely need a fax machine, I chose this model based on previous reviews. It meets my needs and cost less than replacement ink for my older printer.
