The printer was easy enough to install when we got it. The problem is that it's very prone to jamming and when it prints its's slow.

Should be more economic when required. There is no configuration to make use as economic printing and therefore takes more time and spends more ink even when you dont need a perfect printing.

brand new started telling me to add paper even thou it had paper, I kept her adding more and still was acting up so not sure what to say othe than that is a good printer..

Very hard to navigate the setup, the manual wasnt helpful. Called customer service twice, I guess Brother expected me to read their minds. It works but what hassle.......

Just need it for the occasional printing which is a good thing since it is so slow. If I needed to use more often or for work would definitely upgrade to a better & faster model.

Does the job I guess. The print cartages it came with ran out almost immediately. I had to uninstall it once already on my computer so it would work. But it is printing now.

Salesman was courteous and professional. The printer itself works as described ... not especially great at any one area and is quite slow but a strong value ...

The printer is OK, but we have had some trouble with it sometimes reporting a cartridge out of ink when the cartridge still has enough ink in it.

It does what it's supposed to but very confusing for a beginner/non-expert. had trouble scanning. On/off button doesn't work.

So far so good. I just hope that when the black ink runs out, the combination of the colored ink could still print black and white print out.

I specifically purchased a Brother - MFC-J485DW Wireless All-In-One Printer based on Best Buy's product description that it included ethernet connectivity. Unfortunately this description is inaccurate and I was unable to email Best Buy as they've chose to remove email options for customer service. So, I followed their alternative recommendation to leave this review. So far printing seems adequate as long as you don't need to trust the connectivity options listed.

Prints VERY Slow, copies r slow. Best Buy Review shows 20ppm, but box shows 3ppm for print. Other than that I like it. So I am going with a Larger Model.

When the printer was purchased the sales person ensured me that the printer was compatible with the the refillable ink program for $3.99 per month

I bought this printer for a friend, he live in the same building with whenever he a technical issue he always call upon me. He never call me for this printer

We bought this printer as recommended by an associate as a user friendly, easy set up. We have never been able to get it to print wirelessly and had other problems with it. We finally decided to just find another printer. More money wasted on this Brother.

Brothers makes using any other ink a pain. Little research will show how to use other brands for a reasonable price

I bought this to replace my HP Envy and it works fine but it can be very slow to connect as an air printer.

Good printer but VERY slow, If you have a big project, this may not be the printer for you. Trouble connecting a laptop to the printer.

Basic, run of the line printer. Do not expect anything elaborate with this unit. Works as described.

If you dont print a lot this is it. But you have to be replacing the ink regularly. Quality is normal. Is just a home small printer.
