Very disappointed with the printer, as I found it to be very slow when printing

Only used maybe 20 times. Poor quality even for an inexpensive printer.

It look nice.But I have not used it yet.I do like it because it is wireless.

Broke in less then a week ..bought 2 brothers.. both broke

I have always purchased HP printers in the past. However after my experience with this Brother printer I will never buy an HP again. This printer is very easy to set up as a wireless printer and an AirPrint for my iPhones and iPads. I love the feature where the printer turns itself on once a print job is started. This printer is very frugal with ink use. I was paying a fortune for HP ink in the past. DUMP HP and buy this Brother printer

I love this printer cheap and easy to used it only took me 5 mins to set up the program and then i start printing everything.

I replaced an HP inkjet that was loud and WiFi connection was iffy. This printer connected quickly and printing was a breeze. I did initially set it up with the default OS drivers - both on Mac and Windows machines - and the printing was very slow. Quiet but slow. Then I went to the Brother website and downloaded the driver set and it made a huge difference. Much faster. Although I'm not a fan of printer programs that constantly get in the way, this one so far hasn't been intrusive.

I bought this Brother J485DW printer about a month ago. It was easy to set up and has worked flawlessly. I set it up hard wire cable to my old Dell office computer, then added all my wireless devices; my Galaxy phone, my Sony Laptop, and my Chromebook. No issues printing from any device. The printer is quick. In the past I have always bought HP printers, but recently tossed my HP 5600 Envy after 3 months of annoying software updates and randomly losing the wifi connection to my devices. Had to restart the HP often just to get it to print! No such issues with this Brother model. I am sold! And on top of that it was less expensive than comparable HP models.

just bought this Brother all in one ink jet yesterday from best buy...im impressed. good purchase. it took me about a 1/2 hour, 45 minutes to hook it up properly. that included setting up the cartridges, setting up to my wi fi, connecting to my laptop, and i downloaded the brother app at google play for my android. zte zmax. anyway all is working and properly functioning...IGNORE any bad reviews in my opinion. its a good all in one.

Easy to set up, excellent print quality. Ink prices are better than any other printer I've had. Only problem I have is setting up Cloud print. I'm still working on it. Over all, best ink jet I've had and after over 30 years of computers I've had many.

The Mfc-j485dw Wireless All-in-one Printer works beautifully and is fully compatible with our wireless network. It prints and scans everything we need and the colors are vibrant. We now have two Brother printers and couldn't be happier with their performance. Replacement ink cartridges are much more affordable than other brands and there are no software hassles when replacing. Great printer for the money.

I was skeptical about buying ANOTHER wireless printer, but this printer has already exceeded my expectations. I love that I can be in the next room and be able to print still. Also that it prints front and back easily with just a click of a button. I haven't found anything wrong with it. I found it when it was on sale and was completely worth the price in my opinion.

I needed a new printer and wanted this brand because I've had them in the past and really liked them. Was great to find this on sale, and great product.

I already own this model and it's twin the J480DW. The printers are somewhat slow but they have been reliable for me and most of all the consumables are dirt cheap, you can find ink for as little as a dollar each. It does everything I need and more. Kudos to Best Buy, I ordered on Monday and received this on Tuesday, unbelievably quick.
