Works well--prints clearly--wifi is fairly good--nice to print to from a phone, too.

In replacing an old Brother MFP, we had considered HP, Canon, Epson and Brother. When purpose, speed, ink cost and past performance of our previous printers were considered, it came to a tie between the MFC-J485DW and an Epson. The Brother was on sale at a price that made it a no-brainer. We've been very satisfied with its performance. NOTE: with any Brother printer, make sure you run a full-page, low-density, full-color test copy or print once each week to keep the print head clean.

This is a great wireless printer that can be located anywhere in the house. Can print directly from iPhone with ease.

I did follow the Best Buy reviews and I am happy. The set-up and cloud set-up were easy using the on-display guides. The software needed to be downloaded from the internet to my IMAC but this wan't too difficult. Very happy printing from my samsung s7, the printer starts-up quickly, the black and white is great, color is adequate for my home needs. I like the idea of modular print cartridge colors.

Printer does the job for kids homework and light printing jobs. Haven't used it for photos yet. The ink cartridges can add up if you use it heavily.

First Brother printer I’ve purchased. Performing great so far. Paper tray quality seems cheap though - doesn’t slide easily - hope it will hold up.

The gentleman who helped me pick the right one was great! And, after a bit of trouble getting it set up, it is a great printer. A little slow, but us retired folks have no problem kicking back and waiting for it :)

More features, compact size, and reasonable price sold me on this printer for my son to take to college with him.

This is the third Brother printer I bought. It is easy to install. This one however is slower in printing. It would be nice if the usb cable is included. Overall speaking, this is a good printer.

I've used Brother products before and I'm glad I got another product. I really like this printer and the updated features (compared to my old model). I specifically like being able to print from my mobile phone!

I especially like the fax feature which my old printer did not have. After recent usage it appears to be a very good product which I would recommend to others.
