It's good enough and can use generic ink cartridges.

My HP just stoped Bri king with black ink and it was only 4 years old! One of the guys at Best Buy recommended this one after going through a few other options. I decided to go with this one because the ink was cheaper and it was an all in one combo. The app for your phone is so convenient, I can print stuff while laying in bed for the next mornings class!

Printer works great! Easy set up and good quality for the price

I only use this for scanning and printing. It does both quite well. I dumped an Epson 840 for this machine because of the scanning. This machine scans much better than the Epson but the Epson costs less to print. So purchase based on most need; scan or print.

This is my favorite printer of all time. Because it’s quiet, there’s AirPrint so you can print rite from your phone and also I’ve printed over 50 pages before the printer told me low on ink but the beer part is the ink is definitely affordable. If your looking for a great All-In-One printer this is the printer you will want!!

Got this one for just $50 and for that price its awesome. Loved its auto duplex printing. I would surely recommend this one. :)

This printer works great. It prints, prints through Wifi, scans, emails, faxes (If you do that thing anymore) and has worked for all our needs. The printing is a bit slow hence the 4 stars but all in all it's worked perfectly for a working Husband and Wife. Would strongly suggest.

Great all in one printer and a great price. Cheap ink also

First off, I am a fan of Brothers printers. I have owned few of them since 2004. I have had this printer for over a year, now. For a compact printer, it offers a lot of great features in par to my old king-size Brother printer MFCJ6910DW. With four colored ink cartridges, I only purchased or refill the black cartridge. But after a year, the three other cartridges shows they were emptied and the printer refused to print. Supposedly, there is a workaround in Brothers menu to print black only, but I couldn't get it to work. The printer has a duplex feature, but only in printouts, not in scanning. You will have to feed the document again to scan the back side. I only could remember having three paper jams. There been a few firmware updates to the printer but haven't seen any negative effects. If you unplug the printer for a few hours, it gets fuss in reconnecting to Wi-Fi.

This printer we mainly use it to print from our iPhones love the Bluetooth in it. And also the images are always the same size
