Reliable ,clear prints and easy to utilize in any setting .

It's not the Rolls Royse of copy/fax machines but gets the job done. I've yet to use it as a fax but everything else works nicely. Both my tablet and phone easily see the printer in the device list and I'm able to print, scan to email and all the good digital stuff.

One concern: sometimes wireless printing is very slow. Otherwise a decent printer for the price.

Printer works great, never have any issues with it and I can find ink relatively inexpensive. Only problem I have is printing from my iPhone, it doesn’t find the printer but that could be Apple’s fault.

I bought this printer because it was on sale and I looking to switch from epson after having the same issue with their printers across multiple units. So far so good on this brother. Printers now a days are so cheap that it's almost better to get a new one every year.

My HP InkJet started to jam so I was in need of a printer ASAP for my home use. For the money this Brother does everything I want it to do. It's not the fastest but gives me what I want at an very low price.

I like a lot of the features. Everything is good plug and play. I didn’t have to download any apps or software that’s so good. From any device my iPad or laptop I can just print. I love that there’s no work on my end. Oh did I mention the ability to print two sided pages! No bleed through! Amazing! It’s worth the money.

I love Brother printers, so bought this one in a pinch when my old one died after a few years. It was the only one in the store. It does all that I want, but is slower than my last one and makes noise likes it's eating the paper. You get used to it though. So I kept it.

This printer replaced an older model Brother printer for my wife's use with her Kindle tablets and Windows netbook. The setup was not fast but easy, and the print quality improvement was immediately noticeable. She is very happy with the MFC-J485DW and we now have a spare printer for when one of the others breaks.

Printer works great but beware that there is not an easy way to print from or scan to a USB

Purchased this printer, never purchased a brother printer before, but the ink level seems to never go down. Picture quality is good

Great printer cheap price fast and reliable for kids

i am please with the printer. it is easy to transport, even if not the lightest portable printer out there. i like the compact design. Had a paper jam and was easy to clear. The prints are clear and sharp. For the price the printer does all I ask for.

This printer has simple set up and wifi interface. Good but slow on printing color prints. Black and white letter size prints are fast enough. Loading, unloading and flexibility of useage is good. Uses color inks rapudly. Overall quite good for money paid.

This is a warrior I use it and abuse it, I buy generic cartridges on amazon and they work fine. Use for college A+
