bought this machine to replace one where the ink cost quite a bit. researched the cost of ink for this machine beforehand and for the price of ink replacement on my other machine bought this one and will be saving on ink from now on.

Good printer for the price. A little slow but not too bad.

The printer was a little difficult for me to set up for wireless connectivity because my laptop did not have a cd port. The printer works really well. I'm happy with it and ink for this printer is not too expensive.

Overall my printer is a good buy but it uses to much ink.

At this point I have only printed a few times with it. Works very well. Easy to set up except in cartridges must be installed from right to left on first setup or you get error message. Instructions do not make this say that.

My old printer (a different brand) started making terrible noises and I needed to replace it. The Brother model was priced right, very easy to set-up and use. I didn't know about getting a discount on ink with the My BestBuy program until after the fact. Very pleased with my new printer!

I wanted a cheap, reliable printer for occasional home office use. So far so good! Wireless printing options work great. The printer is a bit slow, but I expected this at this price point. Colors and print quality are fine.

I love this printer because is a very good deal and are included 3 functions in one operating system MFC-J485dw that means multi functional fax, scan and telephone work smart print scan copy and fax. Wireless too

My last hp printer died after just 1 yr so decided to go with Brother since i already have one for desk top pc that is 8 yrs old and has never had a problem. So far i really like this one and its fairly quick printing. I would get a more expensive one if ur doing alot of printing tho .

The printer is a little slow, and the bundled ink cartridges are small, but the printer is reliable and cost effective. For a private individual it's great. The periodic automatic cleaning keeps it in top performance.

I purchased a brother printer two years ago for my daughter and she loves it. My mother was having so many problems with her hp printer, I decided to by her a brother one my daughter. the price was reasonable and now she really likes it. She said she never wants another hp printer.

I bought this for it's Fax function. It connected to my answering machine and prints from all devices in the house via WiFi. Easy to set up and color copies works well. Paper loading and print cartridge are easy to change.

The Printer works great , Made my work easy and simple.

This printer has the four services I require: print, copy, scan and fax. It is easy to navigate. It doesn't have top speed but for a home office it is just fine. Each color cartridge is individual so you only have to change cartridges for the cartridge that is empty.

Easy and intuitive to use. Print, Fax, Copy, Scan. High yield 550 page ink cartridges available Also, Brother tech support is top-notch. All USA based. Very knowledgeable and patient. They always follow up by sending a written "How to" in case you have the same issue again.
