For a beginner this is a good item to purchase. My only "con" is that the print quality isn't as great as I expected. It does print fairly well.

Even after reviews I was skeptical about setting this up with only a mobile device. But the setup was easy and now I can print from my phone. Only used it for a week but so far so good

I was able to purchase this wifi printer/copier/scanner cheaper than the replacement ink cartridges for my Canon printer, and the ink was included and they were full size cartridges!!!

I bought this for my wife so she could print images wirelessly from her IPAD onto vinyl sheets for shirt designs. Works like a charm!!!!

This printer works well and it was very easy to install. It replaced a very old HP printer which worke well but which was impractical to set up with wifi. I am very happy with this purchase.

Came highly recommended by the sales person and it does seem to be pretty reliable. A little difficult to get set up but works fine. And the ink is cheaper than my old HP.

This printer is excellent and inexpensive. I had many different brands of printers before but none was as good as BROTHER.

I found it easy to connect with all devices. Takes a little work but was able to figure out how to scan to the cloud. Have not use the fax function yet. No complaints

I like the Brother products. This is my 2nd laser printer and pleased with the quality of the prints and happy that I can get compatible cartridges at s reasonable cost

This is a great printer. It's cheap with cheap ink cartridges, good for printing a lot of paper. Recommend highly for college students

For a basic printer that prints wirelessly you can't go wrong with the brother MFC J485 DW wireless all-in-one printer. No complaints

I bought this printer because my friend had similar (also brother ink printer, even working with the same ink cartridge but a lower model) and it was working great and really efficient. The same situation is with this printer It cost me less than $50 and there are really cheap ink cartridges available online. Brother MFC-J4850W is not a speed demon, but it's printing fast enough for home usage. Multiplex is also a very nice advantage. I can recommend to everybody that wants to print only couple pages a day. For more pages buy a laser printer, but prepare for very expensive toners if You'll choose a color printer.

Easy to install and great for scanning! I'm in real estate and have several documents required for scanning. Not one hiccup thus far.

This was a replacement for a Brother all-in-one that finally gave out after nearly 10 years of daily use. This scans and prints much quieter than the last one. Loving the newer model.

Good printer. Does what I need it to do. But it is slow, slow, slow. Ok for home use. Not for large or multiple projects.

printer works great, easy access to the ink and the ink is reasonable, with color being 3 separate cartridges so you save a little money there replacing only the ones you need.
