My typical issue with a lot of printers and printer reviews is they ignore the awful software drivers that often come with the great hardware. This printer had simple "get-the-job done" software installs and drivers and auto-feed hopper on the color scanner. The scan resolution looks good without creating huge files. I liked the simple configurability to get 300dpi color scan with auto-straighten. While slow compared to my $8,000 Xerox DocuCenter, this printer was under $200 and I can easily lift it and carry it in my 2-door convertible to an expeditionary work session at a hotel breakfast nook.

The Brother laser jet printer installed with ease. Using it is simple. I’m delighted with it.

I’m using one in a very busy medical office and it runs steady all day over 10,000 pages flawless so far!

Easy set up. No problem with it yet. The only thing of course is that you need a landline if you’re looking to fax.

Print is real good. Copies great .Software is slow to load and update hard to find. Once done works great wireless and USB.It prints fast and is quiet compared to ink jet printers.

Excellent printer. This is our second one. Easy set up. Toner lasts a long time.

When I realized that I didn't really need a color, ink-jet printer (with its many spent cartridges of ink!), I decided to look into a B&W laser. Other reviewers had commented favorably and the price was right, so I made the purchase. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and like was it can do. First, set-up was quite easy! So far I have used it to print (including double sided), copy and scan and I've been pleased with the result of all three operations! The ability to copy from a remote printer and my mobile phone has been a bonus! After 3 weeks, I am quite happy with this purchase!

Does what we want when we want and at a fair price. Makes life easier. Our last one lasted nine years.

The product works perfectly. I had issue with it at first but this is due to the operator. Would like to have had the instructions on how to download the app so as to xomplete scan backs, but with the call to Brother, I was able to sownload everything I need for my machine to function up to par. Thank you and as Notary Signing Agent this product was much needed and is much appreciated.

I've been using Brother printers at home and at work for about 10 years. Each one has been a workhorse. This one is no exception. We had decided to upgrade from a 10-year-old plug-in Brother laser printer very similar to this one to a wireless printer. The transition was seamless. It was easy to set up and configure on our home network and has operated smoothly ever since. I have zero regrets and am completely satisfied in our purchase.
