    I try to print, and print queue states that the document is printing,but printing never begins. Occasionally, a document will clear the print queue but will not print the entire document. It only prints one line and cuts off the next line and nothing after that. Sometimes document is held on print queue for awhile and prints some time later. Right now I have a document that's been on hold for 2 days. I uninstalled and reinstalled the setup but it does nothing for the performance.

    Poor Quality Printer-Scanner

    The scanner scans crooked from the document feeder and produces fuzzy results. Print quality is not as sharp as one would expect from a laser printer.

    Most frustrating printer I have used for 20 years. Has to be reconnected to lan for any reason if the power is loss. Most of the time you cannot simple pick this printer and printer; 80% of the time there is troubleshooting required. Total trash...good chance you will regret buying this piece of junk.

    Garbage - won't turn on after 6 weeks of minor use

    I have had this printer for less than 6 weeks and it no longer powers on. I printed maybe 50 pages in total. Just refuses to power on any longer. Piece of garbage! And, Best Buy indicates it is past it's return window! What a huge disappointment. I will no longer shop at Best Buy if they won't stand by the products they sell.

    Complete Pain to Set Up

    Spent hours trying to connect to my network that gives me no problems with a multitude of other devices. Is the technology from the 80's? kept telling me password was wrong. Password was NOT wrong. Tried everything. Went to website and saw message "We are Not Open for July 5th." What I experienced was the very reason I bought another printer to NOT experience.

    Printer did not meet my needs

    Made multiple calls to Brother help desk to fix the software print/scan function. I could issue a print from excel/word documents but was not able to use the print/scan software provided by Brother. The last time I contacted the help desk I was directed to the second level support from Brother. He was not able to solve the problem. Consequently since the printer would not do the functions it was designed for I returned the printer to Best Buy.

    Printer comes with NO User Guide. For a person with low computer skills, this makes it almost unusable. A cheap move by Brother.

    I have bought numerous Brother MFC-2740DW machines but they were out of stock when my last one need to be replaced. I bought this one thinking it would be at least equivalent by the copies and especially the scans are unclear and illegible. Now to figure out how to get this taken care of.

    Buy a different printer!

    This is the printer from hell. It works when it wants to work, wired or not wired. It will not cancel documents in the queue nor will it print them. I have to shut it down prior to each print job. I'm usually a fan of Brother printers, but this is ridiculous!

    please note this does not scan double sided. it does print double sided though.

    I ordered this printer but then canceled it because I found out the toner cartridges were proprietary and expensive.

    the printer is just fine. The HORRIBLE PROBLEMS ARE BEST BUY AND MOST OF THE STAFF. Next one I buy and it will be several will be at STAPLES. TAKE A LOOK AT ALL MY FILES at Best Buy. Jonathan was the only one who knew what to do. And then he abandoned me. Not his fault. I know your business. And your technology. It is the worst I ever saw.

    Mac Laptop using this printer will not have a duplex option where my 5 year old MFC model has this option. What were they thinking? The Brother APPS were child like as far as I'm concerned.

    worst tech support ever. I had to go else where to have this printer work correctly and I still have issues. Person who sold it to me said it would connect to my computer. It's all about the money with Best Buy

    If you don’t need color this is the best printer money can buy. I have older brother laser printers before and they have been bulletproof. This one can do air print which makes it the pinnacle as far as I’m concerned. If you need color try there color laser printer.

    Brother MFC-L2710DW Laser Printer

    As always, Brother laser printer is reliable, and always at the ready. I have no fear that the toner will dry out like my last printer's demise. The prints are very sharp and readable. Having Best Buy as my warranty gives me peace of mind. I just love my Brother!

    Bought a Lemon

    Didn't work. I tried and tried to get this printer set up without success. Finally, I had Geek Squad to come to my home and set up it up for me. The tech said it had a manufacturer flaw and will not work. I had to return it.
