    Look Elsewhere for a Multi-function Device

    I truly hate this printer. I've had problems printing 2-sided from Windows but it works from my iPhone. I doesn't scan 2-sided. It does scan to email. Problems printing from manual feed tray - envelopes aren't recognized.

    after 2 weeks, it shows "self diagnostic". try to fix this issue as per build process but problem not solved.last brother printer had been power out after 6 month of use. it is unacceptable.

    junk. I doubt I have printed 100 pages and it already demands a new toner. What a waste of money! Wi-Fi never connected properly. I had to plug it into USB to use it.

The stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.     Could not get it to scan or print. Didn't try faxing. Our IT people said it was a lemon. Too bad. Was trying to replace a 10 yo Brother MFW that was great!

    PIECE OF CRAP WHEN TRYING TO PRINT ENVELOPES. Takes 3-4- times of "Document Jam" if the machine isn't pulling the envelope in at an angle. Really hate this printer and regret buying it.

    Biggest problems: 1. Installation a nuisance at best. Brother pushes all sort of data mining apps that are poorly rated 2. Wont scan into a pdf after all drivers have been updated 3. You have to question who submitted these high ratings

    the 2750 was much better. even though this is cheaper its has difficulties connecting to wifi. I ended up having to buy a printer cord to use it.

    SAMPLE TONER DOESNT LAST LONG

    This has a sample toner not full size toner so beware as it will not last long. Had I realized a tn730 toner is not the same as a tn730 toner, I would have bought one w/full size toner or purchased extra toner.

    Was not able to connect this to my wifi network. Used the cable connect and wireless- neither one worked. Returned this unit.

    Prints one page and then says printer offline . Called 5 times and then they say you have to call your computer manufacturer but it is working even though never finished the installation

    It is not easy to set up! Will not cut off and can’t stop fax from picking up lines! It is hard to regulate !
