Brother is always well built and reliable! It is the only brand I consider for printers and sewing machines. I don’t fax but I chose this model anyway because I could get it within an hour of ordering. The wifi was an easy set up. I only need printing and copying and these work great.

Printers never seem to last. I bought this one because Consumer Reports says that lazer printers last longer than inkjets and this one wasn't too expensive. It doesn't print color but it does scan color, so we can always scan something in color and print it on another printer if we need to. It's working well on the wi-fi and I like the software for scanning and fax etc. It wasn't especially easy to set up but, by closely following the instructions, I was able to get things working with a little patience. If it lasts longer than the HP and Epson printers we've had, I'll be happy

Was told the printer had high yield toner and it has standard. Not to happy to be mislead. I would like the high yield i was told it had. Who do I need to speak to?

It's a good printer but be sure to download the right driver from Brother and you may also have to update the firm ware.

Surprisingly very easy and straightforward to set up. The scanner could be of better image quality but aside from that printing is great.

So far, so good. Needed a simple black print workhorse printer. Has performed well thus far.

Setup was reasonably straightforward and I was able to add it to the home network. Generic printer drivers seem to work fine, did not install the Brother drivers. Prints fast and clear. I haven't tried the scan or fax functions yet..

Received the printer within 24 hours, kudos to Best Buy. Now, as for the printer, it prints well and scans well, just as well as my professional office printer at work. The problem I have with this machine is the maddening user interface and the horrible "Reference Guide" you have to go on-line to find. The machine does not come with any instruction manual at all so you're left to fiddle with the poorly designed interface on the machine's LCD screen and You-Tube videos from other owners. WiFi setup was average at best, but it does work. All told it took several hours to properly set up the machine, however I still haven't tried to set up the fax since I can scan into my remote computer and fax from e-mail or the database. Overall, a capable machine once you're familiar with it and, I feel, good bang for the buck.

I hated my HP ink jet I had to chuck it. Years ago when I had to receive and print tons of RE documents I had a Brother that was a real work horse, so decided to get this one. So far it has met all my expectations.

After years of HP printers, I tried this Brother, and I'm impressed with print quality and simplicity. My only wish is that the paper tray had more capacity.

Very easy to setup and use, toner is a little expensive but I would suggest buying a aftermarket toner online
