It was very simple to set up and to use. This printer probably is one of the best printers for a home or for a small office use unless you need color. Toners for this printer is also good for your $$$.

Great copies. Reasonably fast in print and 2 sided printing. Software setup a little awkward for me and needed to call brother for help and they did a good job walking me through it.

These things routinely go on sale, and are pretty much unbeatable for price/quality/reliability...I've bought canon, hp, it's all junk... This is the one to buy for mono, I also like the more expensive model for color, but I buy it from an office supply store because bestbuy sells the one that doesn't duplex for the same price

This is a solid, well built machine. It has extensive documentation and set-up information. But set-up was not intuitive. When properly set-up, it's a dream to use. The problem is that a lot of complex operations were required to get it running properly. Like having to delete the printer drivers and then install new ones. This was not a small thing for me. Maybe the issue is that it does too much. Maybe I should have called on Brother support. None the less, I love it and I am sold on Brother for quality products.

We set this up as an extra printer for our busy office, works wonderful and is fast. Keeps up with all our demands.

I specifically wanted a multi function printer/scanner that could scan multiple pages, and used toner instead of ink. There weren't many options in this price range, and I decided to get this one because I've had such great experiences with Brother products in the past. So glad I did! Super easy to set up, and does everything I need!

This printer/fax/copier/scanner is very easy to use and produces excellent copies. The scanning function is user friendly. The fax capability is also very good. The ink that comes with it is a smaller amount than you would buy. It is pretty big and does take up some space, but understandable for a multiuse machine.

This is a great starter printer for my daughters new printing company. They love the quality and low price ink.

I bought this to replace a relatively new Canon printer because it would no longer scan. This unit was well-reviewed and on sale, and having used it for almost two months I'm very pleased. The document feeder makes scanning a snap, and the ability to scan both sides of a document in a single pass saves a lot of time. Very satisfied with the printer performance as well. All in all a very solid unit.
