I have only purchased Brother laser printers over the past 25 years and have never been disappointed, and this model is no exception. It has all the functions that you need in a multifunction laser printer, but in a smaller footprint than the L5900, which I also own. Setup is easy, output is sharp and black and it can do automatic double-sided scanning from the ADF.

Perfect machine for most homes and small businesses. Just but the generic toners to save more money. As long as your monthly needs stay around a thousand to 1500 pages, this is a decent machine to get.

I bought this printer for our church after having had a good experience with another Brother printer in our home after having had HPs for years. The Brother produces a solid crisp black and I had no problem linking it up with my Mac via wifi. The starter cartridge is only rated for 700 copies and 5% coverage and that more realistically was just over 300 copies, so be sure to get an additional cartridge to have on hand.

Works as described! Needed a replacement office printer that could pump out menus and scan in paperwork and this gets the job done very easily. Simple set up and easy to use software. Will most likely get one for my house when the time comes!

It’s wireless capabilities are life changing. To know that I can print from my phone/tablet/computer and not be tied down by the usb connection is awesome. Also to know that I can something wirelessly feels greats.

Fast, seconds after hitting print, it is printing! Love the scanner. My old Brother B&W printer lacked the scanner, this is a great improvement. My Brother printers have been extremely dependable.

Waited for my ink-gobbling inkjet printer to die, then replaced it with this laser black and white workhorse. Oh Happy Day! This All-in-One provides plenty of options to customize your printing, scanning and copier functions, achieving day to day automated near-perfection. Do NOT favor their automatic file numbering system which requires manual editing to alter. The very best feature for papercrafters like me is the ability to print flawless images, with the proper settings, on heavy watercolor paper and cardstock at home. Should have shot my old machine long ago!

Bought it for a tutoring center. It can scan double sided and go to your phone quickly and good picture quality in black and white compared to my other MFC printer that was over 5 years ago. Bought a high yield toner because the basic doesn’t last long.
