I got tired of my HP color printer when my color ink cartridges kept drying up after only a couple of months. I didn't use the colors very much anyway and decided to go with a straight black and white printer. This Brother machine is faster than my HP, uses toner instead of cartridges and still scans color documents. It was simple to install and is working smoothly thus far. I recommend this if you are looking for a sort of bare bones black and white printer. It does the job for me.

Use with wireless with Windows 10 latest update, IPhone and iPad. Like everything about it with exception of needing to turn it off and then on periodically to get it to print following unknown error fault. Have issue with all devices. About every couple of weeks.

Really great option. The price for the unit and toner is so worth it compared to how annoying it was to constantly replace ink jet cartridges. The only downside is the lid does not open to 90 degrees and setting up scan to a computer via wifi is not as intuitive as the rest of setup.

This laser printer was highly recommended in its All-in-one Printer category from expert reviews so much so the inventory was low. Very happy with this purchase thus far. Ease of installation and use.

Easy. great print quality. no trouble with paper jams. Sooooooo much better than the inexpensive ink jets with their expensive ink. It's a little large for me but I found a place for it. I'd buy it again.

Installing the toner cartridge was easy. I've used the scan, copy and print functions with no problems. This Brother multifunction laser replaced an old HP Officejet. I like the print quality and print speed of this new laser printer!

Wow what a work horse! Very very reliable and has never failed on me. Highly recommend you buy the larger toners online and you'll be good to go!

This printer was recommended by several friends and it did not disappoint. Not being computer savy I was nervous about hooking it up to our wireless system, but it pretty much did it on it's own. Very happy with it, great price.

I replaced my ink jet printer with this. So much faster and the ink cartridge last longer. I like being able to scan from the feeder. I does seem to want to jam when printing two sided so I turned that off.

Bought to use for homeschooling because I knew I would be doing a lot of printing. Had no problem setting it up. Got a lot of use out of it in just the one year that I’ve had it.

Purchased due to COVID pandemic closing colleges and needed something more efficient for printing powerpoints at home. No complaints here! Easy set up for printer and laptop. I have a Mac and it works fine

Tried to buy at the store but, they were out of stock. Store ordered on line and quoted delivery date. Unit came 2 days early which was impressive. Printer would not connect via Windows10 but setup was very easy using the supplied disc. Don't use the fax but, all other functions are easy to use and work without fault

We have been using the ink jets a while, and figured the amount of printing we had started doing was taking way too much ink. Getting this printer made things easier. Less ink, and faster speed.

After one and one-half years, this printer functions like it was new. The software makes it easy to scan one and two-sided materials and the speed of printing the first and subsequent paghes is fabulous.

The printer is fine. It pretty much does anything one needs, scan, print, fax. Setting up the wireless connection was difficult. I have a Mac and I had a hard time. I eventually had to call Brother support. Here is a tip for you if you have Mac: use Brother iPrint & Scan for scanning. Do not download the recommended driver package. Instead, only download the printer driver from the Brother website. Then connect the printer to your wifi, then to add the printer go to Printers & Scanners on your mac. Find the IP address of the printer, and add the printer through the IP address.

Needed a higher speed, higher volume printer for work. I previously used an Ink jet printer which used up way too much ink. This all-in-one is working out perfectly. Just what I neeesed!
