This a fine printer, but the factory cartridge started printing light after about 500 pages, and was pretty much unusable at 850. So, since I bought this at Best Buy and had Geek Squad support, I took in the toner, a picture of the page counter, and a sample page from the cartridge, and another from one I replaced it with. The guy at "customer service" was uninterested. Nothing he could do, unless maybe I could bring in the [large, heavy] printer and have Geek Squad look at it. So, Brother had a bad cartridge, and Best Buy failed to help, even though I paid for support. I use Best Buy rather than Amazon, because I think a brick and mortar store of its sort needs to stay in business. And, they have knowledgeable sale people. But after this experience, and another bad customer service experience last week (on another product, with their call center, not local store), I'm wondering if I should keep doing it. Best Buy, you need to do better!

Very happy with the speed and scanning is a breeze. Got a deal at best buy for under 200 and it really blows away my Epson that stopped working on me.

Printer arrived on time, in good condition, and works as it should. The description says Gray but the unit is totally Black. Not a problem but just seems odd.

We've had some problems on the scanning and if it had and it had to reinstall the software couple of times. However, overall this is a good all-in-one device for printing and scanning. We have not used the fax function..

Does a great job. Only complaint is that it's noisier than expected.

Works well in a small office environment. The touch screen makes it easy to use and having a actual numeric pad makes it easier to use than most printers that have eliminated the actual keyboard for a touch screen.

Flawless.. works like a champ .. my first toner compatible printer, up until now was using cartridge printer never survived a year .. this is holding awesome ...

Got tired of paying for ink cartridges and this printer/scanner fits the bill. I use the scanner more then printer but now I am not concerned about printing a few pages when necessary.

Best printer running its second year of victory. I use all kinds of paper and the feeding rubber hasn't given me any trouble

It's a nice printer that will save me a lot of money due to lower printing costs. I won't have to keep buying expensive ink cartridges.

I don't think the automatic document feeder was actually worth an extra hundred dollars, but it's a decent printer. The scanning function could be better. It doesn't scan straight. Overall, not bad though.

Does everything I need it to do with ease, connects to wifi, no Ethernet cord required. Looks exactly as it does in the picture, good purchase

Toner seems to last for quite a long time and is more reasonable in price than the smaller machines. It is a little bulkier than some but since it will duplex that makes it a great little machine.

Exactly what you need for a business. Great toner longevity and easy wireless networking setup!

This is my second Brother MFC printer! My last one was 15+ years old. I love it.

I love this printer. It’s perfect for a home office. The ink lasts a while! I would recommend it. It works with my iMac.

It does the job, and we like it. I especially like the feature of printing double sided.

Was easy to set up. Has been working fine except when we accidently changed the setting on the scanner. It took us awhile to figure out how to improve the resolution of our scans.

Does exactly what I needed it to single sweep scanner. Goes fast and connected very easy via wifi
