Was looking for a scanner/copier/printer for home use and this one is excellent. Great quality and economical. Highly recommended.

Yay!! My new printer came today! I bought another Brother printer, shame on me!! I had a 7 year old Brother that worked fine, didn't always stay connected wirelessly so we just gave up and just connected it with USB cable to my Mac. Sooooo, I thought that after 7 years Brother could make a wireless printer by now and we wanted one with AirPrint (the old one wasn't able to be upgraded with it) to print directly from our iPhones and iPad. I thought, I'm going to make sure I follow the directions to the T this time. I figured it should be a breeze in this day and age, right? Ha! Same old same old! First off, no drivers for the newest version of OS, ugh! so downloaded the recommended drivers, did everything it said, got to the point that my Mac was searching for my printer and of course...can't find it! Hello!! it's right behind you, 4 feet away!!!. Connected the printer itself to my wireless network effortlessly and I was able to print from my phone. But wireless printing with a Mac to a Brother printer still doesn't exist!! For $250, you can imagine how disappointed I am. I can't speak for any other printer brands and the ease of connecting to a Mac but my goodness, they can't be any worse, can they?? If anyone knows of the best printer for wireless printing for a Mac in the same price range, let me know. I could easily return this and may just have to do that, unless Brother would like to compensate me for my lost time in trying to connect wirelessly.

This printer is efficient and fast. Returned due to cover defect, hinges loosen. Overall, excelled my expectations.

This has been a very good printer/scanner/copier for the month that we’ve had it. It is noisier than our prior printer (HP OfficeJet) but not a big deal. We are happy with toner versus ink!

It’s a brother they make quality machines. I have six days in my office And haven’t had any issues with any of them

GR8 so far. I've not tried the WIFI connection printing - only direct connected to my desktop computer.

Easy setup, great quality and good features Scan mode a bit difficult to use at first - not intuitive as to where scanned doc was saved

Needed a printer and this is exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend this for anyone needing to print, scan or copy.

Great print and scan quality. My only issues is that it doesn’t stay connected to WiFi. If not used for a day or so it will automatically drop and you need to reconnect.
