I expected that I would be getting a great machine especially considering my printers in the past have been under $200. I consider this to be the worst purchase I have ever made. This printer jams EVERY SINGLE TIME I use it. When I get my weekly 40+ page fax I have to sit next to it to unjam it 10-15 times. it is unbelievably frustrating. The first time I changed the toner the drum started leaving a thick black bar across every single page. I called support and waited on hold for hours before I hung up. I used live chat to try to get help, but they said they couldn't help me, it must be user error. I'm totally disgusted by the support team, and the lack of customer service. This over priced, piece of crap worked for less than a month and they won't honor a manufacturers warranty. I will never purchase another Brother products again. Samsung and HP are significantly better products with better prices.

It does not want to take envelopes through the manual feed but you can load them in the drawer. However, it wrinkles the envelopes whether you manage to get them through the manual slot or the drawer.

The new ones are junk. If you insist on buying the current generation of Brother, make sure to buy a GOOD extended warranty because you are going to need it. Contacting Brother Support is a waste of time. Brother will probably reply to this with their canned message "contact Customer Support Team, Brother strives to provide quality products and service to our customers". Such hypocrisy ... their support is awful and they could care less about their customers. I for one will go back to HP because they do care and have great customer support. Cannon also makes a very good product. Do yourself a favor and stick with a manufacturer who (a) still makes quality products, (b) really does care and (c) has good customer support.
