Customers highly value the MFC-L3770CDW Wireless Color All-In-One Laser Printer for its easy setup, print quality, and quiet operation. They appreciate the convenience of wireless printing and the reliability of the machine. However, some customers find the toner replacements to be expensive and the printer to be bulky and heavy.

Trash. Goes off line every minute. Literally had it connected to ethernet and WIFI and regardless of which one we tried...goes off line. Can you imagine having to type in your whole password every single time you want to print or scan in an office setting! Then the scanner leaves lines on it. Brother posts no contact phone number even when the machine is new.

Best Printer I have ever used

At home I have always owned inkjets. Not because we loved them or anything but they were just cheaper to buy upfront then Laser printers. My parents mostly printed in black and white and rarely in color so I said to buy a laser since youll get more use out of a lase printer between changing toner vs ink. Anyways this thing is much bigger then I thought it was. It is an all in one printer which means it can print, copy, scan and fax all in one machine which I guess is typical in most printers these days? It comes with toner which is great since I don't print a lot I think ill get a lot of use out of the included toner. This laser printer is way faster then ink jets in terms of printing speeds with documents.

The Best Printer I Have Ever Owned

Be prepared, because this is a heavy, well built and well equipped printer. This is not a light weight printer so getting it into position on the desk from the box was a little bit of a task but that is the most difficult part of setting everything up. The printer feels well-built and I hope to get many years of service from it. Once you remove all the shipping tape and plastic pieces on the toner cartridges just power it up. You can setup to the printers Wi-Fi either by a USB cord to your computer or by using the touch screen. I elected to use the touch screen and found it to be precise with no lag. I was quickly able to get hooked up to my Wi-Fi and set off to install the software on my desktop. Installation of the included software was quick and easy. The software was up to date but the printer firmware needed to be updated. You can setup the printer either by using the software and/or by using the web interface. I chose to use the web interface and it was easy to configure how I wanted everything setup. All you need to get to the web interface is the IP address on your home network. Put the IP address into the address bar of your web browser and you’re off. I have owned a lot of printers over the years from black and white laser printers to color inkjet printers. This is the first color laser printer I have owned and was so happy I updated from my previous inkjet. I finally got tired of the ink clogging and always having to purchase new cartridges due to the clogs. Once the print job was sent to the printer it quickly printed off the pages I needed. There was very little wait as the printer received the job, processed it and started to print. I found it faster than anything I have owned before and found it to be on par with commercial grade products I have used at work. The printing itself was also high quality and I saw no lines or jaggedness in the letters and pictures like I did a lot of times with my old inkjets. Printing was equally as easy from my Samsung S9 using the Brother iPrint & Scan App. You only need to be on the same Wi-Fi network and you’re good to go. The same applies for a tablet. We have a Samsung tablet and all you need is the iPrint & Scan App and a Wi-Fi connection to the same network the printer is on. Setup of the app is very easy and straight forward. I setup the scan to file option using the web interface and scanned documents were quickly saved to my server. I was hopeful this printer was compatible with Internet Fax so I could setup scan to email but it doesn’t appear this is an option for this model. I was disappointed, until I figured out there is an app called Easy Scan to Email under the App’s menu that allows for the setup of scan to email. I quickly setup scan to email for my wife and I and it works flawlessly to send the scans directly to your email. There are also options to scan directly to internet storage such as OneDrive and Google Drive if you prefer that option. There are three pages of shortcuts you can add to quickly get to things. I was able to setup shortcuts for the scan to email app for both my wife and I, which allows us to quickly scan items directly to each of our email addresses vs having to go through the menu then through the menu of the app. The shortcuts should also work to quickly send items to cloud storage and really simplify things. I couldn’t be more pleased with this printer. I would have preferred compatibility with Internet Fax vs the scan to email app in the apps section but in the end they do the same job and accomplish the task. If you’re in the market for a quality printer, I don’t think you can go wrong with this one.

Unfortunately my printer print quality diminished after the first round of color prints. I tried replacing all my toners, reran configuration and calibration. Still no improvement. Brought to Geek Squad and the recommendation was to return it since it was still under warranty. Super bummed because I LOVE BROTHER products and have never had a problem with anything I have purchased from them.

The printer only worked for about 3 weeks and then died. At that point, it stopped working entirely and wouldn't power on and apparently is non-returnable to BestBuy. Save your money and honestly, if I can't return a faulty piece of equipment that new, maybe considering ordering it somewhere other than BestBuy.

BROTHER IS MY FAVORITE BRAND, they have the best customer service and quality products. Unfortunately, this is not a good printer, takes 12 seconds for the first page to print and after that, it stalls to spit out the rest of the pages not consistent. Cartridges average about $80. Brother is king but this printer is not worth the money.

Do not buy, printer had issues in 3 months and brother support was not covering under warranty since the issue involved the toner. basically black toner exploded leaving black powder everywhere (gears, moving parts...etc) now all my pages come out "dirty" with black residue.

    Brother hits a home run

Is this a fast scanner that comes with a full color laser printer or a fast laser printer that comes with a single pass duplex network scanner? Can it possibly be both? Over the years, I’ve purchased various machines for my home which claim to be “All in One”. Invariably, they compromise in one direction or another. The scanner might be slow or the printer might jam on double sided prints. The Brother MFC-L3770CW does it all. The prints are sharp, accurate, and colorful with good contrast. On photographs, it prints as well as any non-photo inkjet and better that most of the ones I’ve owned. Certainly better than the HP all-in-one inkjets I’ve used in the past. Printing is relatively fast. Single sided is significantly faster, as you might expect. Pages print at ~25 pages per minute, after a short warm up period. If it’s the first page of the day, you might wait 25 seconds, otherwise it’s 4 seconds before the first page out. Toner costs ~$0.10 / page, on the higher side compared with ink jets. Once 3rd parties begin making cartridges, the cost per page should drop significantly. Scans are fast and clear. For a grey, non-searchable PDF, the scanner screams at 34 pages / 68 images per minute. The images are clear and comparable to the original. Color scans are only 18 ppm / 36 ipm, but still faster than many commercial copiers. If you want the PDF to be searchable, it adds ~10 seconds per image at the end of the scan before saving to USB, a network folder, or your favorite cloud service. You can also use the flatbed for scans. Brother also makes a mobile app (both Android and Apple) allowing you to print from your device or scan directly to it, instead of the cloud. The unit interfaces with many popular cloud services including Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, OneNote, Evernote, and Box. For each integration, the printer allows multiple accounts. My entire family uses Gdrive. Each of the four of us has our separate Google accounts registered to the scanner. There are 18 shortcut buttons which make it easy to and to your favorite service/account with one touch. It will also allow for scanning directly to email. Email addresses can be entered directly from LCD panel. Tl;dr: Brother’s All in One laser delivers on the promise of high speed printing and scanning at a reasonable price that should work for any busy home or small office.

We cannot get this printer to function. Hours have been spent. On hold with Best Buy for 20, 25, 30 minutes plus every single time we have tried to contact them. We believe it to be the sensor for the black toner. It would certainly be nice to talk to a human about this being that we have only had the machine for a month.

I opened & setup the printer about 2 weeks after purchase. I noticed that when lifting the top, one of the corners is a lot looser, it slips out. I'm afraid I'm too late to exchange.. plus when I check inventory there is never one available at the store in Pinole, CA.

This is a terrible piece of junk. I've had several Brother products, which all worked fine. My last MFC lasted 15 years. This machine is really bad and the software interface is clunky and problematic. Do not buy this machine, wait for Brother to make the next generation or choose a different OEM.

This is my first time owning a laser color printer, and this all in one laser printer was going to replace my current setup, which was a scanner and a separate black and white laser printer. As far as printers go, this one is pretty awesome. It has all the features you'll need, and even ones that you'll probably never use. The touch screen and provided software make it so that you don't even need a computer to set it up and start printing. It's very easy to use, and to figure out where everything goes. So long as you can read and follow the UI, everything is intuitive. So overall, I'd give the printer a 10/10, as there's nothing I genuinely hate about it. However, what is a little lacking is the software that's installed on the computer. It feels like it's a few versions behind the software on the printer. When I go to print a document using the Brother iPrint&Scan software, I noticed there were a few printer settings missing when compared to printing off a USB directly on the printer. It's not a good sign when I go to print a photo and the Microsoft Photo Gallery app has more settings than the one that comes with the printer. Other things I noticed is that the wireless scanning can be a little finicky. When you're on the computer and tell the printer to scan, it does an ok job. And by ok, I of course mean that the document scans, but there's a window that stays open forever until you restart your computer. There is also an option on the printer to scan to your computer, but that did not seem to work at all. It shows on the computer that it was scanning, but I couldn't not find any documents. One thing to note, is that when I first tried this feature, I did not have the software installed on my computer. However, it did still show that it was scanning. The frustrating part was that it didn't tell me where it was saving the scans to. It would have been a nice feature if the printer told the user where it's saving your scans so you don't have to search everywhere for it. I would love to give this printer 5 stars, but the lack of software is holding it back a bit. It's not a huge problem though, since you can do everything without the computer anyways. With a few software updates, I have no doubt that this printer will deserve the 5 stars that it gets.
