BUT, if you print any photos or need higher resolution printing, this thing drinks ink like you've never seen! BUT also, gives you a terrific result.

I would recommend this to a friendDidn't work out for me - Duplex printing issue

I returned this printer however because it jammed every time when trying to print two sided. I went through the trouble shooting process with Geek Squad and Brother to no avail. I am now thinking I am better off with a separate scanner (2700) and a separate duplex color laser printer (also Brother). I returned this printer for credit with no issues, Best Buy is very good about that.

I'm really not that excited after using it for a short time though. It has kind of a long pause before it starts printing (maybe I'm just impatient) and the color quality is just ok. I'm actually thinking about exchanging it for something else.
