    I must say that I am able to say the toner cartridge lasts a long time. It is a bit on the expensive side. I tried non-brand cartridges before and they didn't work. They left toner residue on my documents.

    I expected the ink to last longer. According to Brother tech support, the printer does not pair well with MAC laptop, and this is true. Don't buy the Brother printer for MACs. Brother admits that it works better with PCs.
