The staff at Best Buy were courteous. The store did not offer a military discount, which would have been nice. thanks Paul

It's quite pricey for a toner cartridge. The one good thing is that at least this is the high yield toner, so it's supposed to last quite a long time.

Using non-Brother supplies may affect the hardware performance, print quality and machine reliability. Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy wit the yield of the Brother TN-227BK toner cartridge. Page yields for genuine Brother toner cartridges are based on ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content. Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge. I didn’t set it up until December, even though I bought it months earlier. Literally, after 3 uses, a black shadow prints on the entire document, no matter which paper I choose. Even though it’s brand new, I took out the cartridges and wiped them down as per the manual; it didn’t help.
