  • Works but doesnt last as long as you would expect

    It works but my printer says it has 10% life left after 1114 pages printed. The specs for this high yield drum say it can print approximately 2600 pages. Even giving it a 20% +/- threshold, we aren't even close to its spec.

  • Not much ink in new cartridge

    Even though this was supposed to be the Brother-made, high-yield ink cartridge, right from the start my computer started telling me I was low on ink, and the ink is not very dark. Best Buy said they will not accept returns on this, even right after the purchase. I don't know whether to blame the cartridge or the printer; I am unhappy with the purchase. I will just get by with poor quality print til I figure out what to do.

  • Don't count on 2600 pages!

    I've had this printer a week. I used the initial cartridge and installed a "High Yield - 2600 pages" cartridge. I'm getting a low toner message tonight and the machine, in total has only printed 1128 pages! That is both cartridges, not just the High Yield Cartridge. I would doubt if I've gotten 1000 pages from the High Yield Cart, printing text documents, 8x11. Very misleading.

    Only got less than 600pages out of toner after printing flyers and programs for my school concert maybe thats why im out
