After installing the toner cartridge, the printer started leaving some streak spots on the pages. Even the toner cartridge it replaced wasn't doing that. Also, the print from the new toner was almost as light as from the previous toner (very slight improvement). I have replaced this toner cartridge in the past & didn't have these issues, so hopefully I just got a defective one. I thought the streaks might stop after a little use, but they didn't.

420 lower cost equivalent never offered even though capacity may work

Didn't realize this didn't come with the drum. It's two separate pieces which I didn't realize. I'm used to the HP printers which are much easier to replace. To replace the drum and printer cartridge didn't seem worth it and the store threw out my drum after I bought the printer cartridge from them, so all in all and aggravating purchase.

I am getting a black line on one edge of the page. I'm told this is from a defective toner cartridge. I have no clue if Best Buy would exchange it. Since they don't have phones that ring, I can't call and ask them either. This whole experience has been a nightmare.

Toner doesn't last as long as claimed, you can shake it up and get a few more but not as many as claimed.

I bought the toner for my printer and it works well.

It does the job but very expensive. I wish they were refillable at best buy

the girl gave me the wrong cartridge. can I still return it? I'm disabled so it's hard for me to get over there.

Was pleased with this battery to start with. But after about a month it stopped holding a charge. Will seek replacement or refund.

Cartridge was low, put in new one and yet still doesn't work

I bought this at best buy, and when i got home to install to my printer, my printer still read as an empty toner, that means this was empty. I tried resetting and turning on an off my printer and still giving me the message of "toner replacement. Replacing a toner with my printer was very straight forward and I replaced my toner on my printer couples of times. Obviously, the toner i bought was empty. I will going back to bestbuy and hope they will replace this toner.

Since my purchase, I have only had to purchase 3 TN-450 replacement cartridges, and I print an incredible amount of pages every day. I have not been keeping count, but have not had the "drum" light go on for replacement yet. However, I have purchased one so it will not stop "production." The pages are clear, although I admit missing colors on a few of the things I print. When I buy my next printer, I will perhaps upgrade to one with color, but this one is so fast in B&W! I would hope eventually they will make color an option, so for most things you can leave it in B&W mode, then switch on color for the occasional document, as I could choose with an old "all-in-one" when I used the scanner. Otherwise, this is PERFECT!

This is the second time I've purchased the high yield toner (TN-450) from Brother and I felt obligated to post a review because of how happy I've been with this particular toner. Like many of you, I was skeptical in believing that there would be much of a difference between the standard yield toner (TN-420). I do a lot of double-sided printing and went through approximately 2 1/2 reams of paper before the toner warning light came on. Even then, I was still able to get a couple hundred more pages before it got embarrassingly bad. What made me decide to buy it from Best Buy this time around was the additional 10% discount I automatically got for using my Best Buy Credit Card during the online checkout. I'm not sure if this is applicable for in-store purchases. After taxes, I paid $67.21, which I now know, is worth it for this product. Look no further, this is exactly what you're looking for. Contrary to other reviews, I have had my Brother printer for several months now and have been great success with my toner cartridges. I use it in the office with 4-5 other employees and we print on average 100-150 pages a day...while i have not kept track of the page count it runs in tandem with our HP printer and the toner falls right in line. I would highly recommend to anyone especially for the price!

The TN-450 works great with Brother MFC-7360 N and is easy to place in the printer.
