THE PRINTER COSTS 89 AND THE TONER IS 70 WHICH I THINK IS RIDICULOUS, BUT I NEED A PRINTERWITH GOOD QUALITY AND THIS IS HOW THEY MAKE MONEY. SORT OF LIKE THE FREE CELL PHONE AND THE 40 CHARGER REQUIRED TO USE IT.

Easy to install and does the job. Hopefully, it'll last longer. 3 stars because I think it's way overpriced.

Bought this ink toner cartridge appx 5 months ago and I do not print alot. It is already out of ink, suppose to print 2600 pages and I have not used even 2 reams of paper and this was the extra ink toner cartridge for the printer. Do not appreciate this incremental ink expense, even though the printer works well. Previously had an HP Laser printer and it printed forever on a single toner cartridge, more like 18 months, so this is a disappointment.

Don't really know how to rate toner, but it does what it's suppose to do. I love the printer so I guess I have to like the toner

Haven't had issues with the printer that takes this cartridge and toner lasts me months so not bad for my small business.

This was my first Brother cartridge for my first Brother laser printer. The printer was attractive at purchase because of its low price and compact design. After some period of usage, a light on the top of the unit indicated that the toner had expired. I bought a replacement TN-450, and followed instructions in the box to replace the original cartridge. Unfortunately the toner light did not go out and the printer did not work. I tried repeating the process several times -- always with the same result. I finally called Brother tech support for help. The representative was knowledgeable and helpful, but the process was very involved. Push this button 7 times, then that button 3 times -- on and on. I did not get any indication as to why this was necessary, but eventually it worked. When this cartridge expires, if the same thing happens, I will throw the printer away. With previous HP laser printers, there was alway a provision to return the used cartridge via UPS. Didn't have this feature with this unit, so getting rid of the old cartridge becomes yet another unwelcome project.

cost is too much and this is a total waste of time typing all of this. In the future do not waste my time

Seems like these cartridges last longer sometimes, not so long other times.Not sure.

Toner is one of those consumable evils for laser printers. I wish that they last longer!

good ink but it dries out kind of fast if you aren't constantly printing

Average to good product but for the price not worth the money

Upon installing still had a toner empty alarm. Found on YouTube a how to removed a gear to reset the toner empty sensor. This is not something a everyday user should have to do, I'm a retired IT professional so it was a easy thing for me to do.

Decent toner replacement...a little pricey for my printer needs.

Toner is easy to replace and lasts for quite a while!

goo toner for brother printer. it took 6 months to use it up.

I always use the recommended toner cartridge for my Brother printer and have never had any trouble with it.

Replaced toner with OEM unit, readily available @ Best Buy, appreciated next day delivery.

I get a whole lot of prints from this, and I am happy with it.

I use 2-3 of these toner cartridges compared to the 1 I would use for my previous machine which was an HP and they both cost about the same.

After installing the toner cartridge, the printer started leaving some streak spots on the pages. Even the toner cartridge it replaced wasn't doing that. Also, the print from the new toner was almost as light as from the previous toner (very slight improvement). I have replaced this toner cartridge in the past & didn't have these issues, so hopefully I just got a defective one. I thought the streaks might stop after a little use, but they didn't.
