    I had a huge color printer/scanner/fax from another manufacturer and for what I spending on ink cartridges, I could have bought a condo. Even if the ink wasn't used it "expired" and I couldn't print even in black. Switched to this Brother laser and the cartridge lasts me for about a year, for home printing use only. I don't miss the color.

    This toner arrived right on time, well before my printer needed it. That turned out to be 6 months early, I just installed it today. You have no idea how much toner is left when the low toner light starts blinking. It's when it says replace toner that you better have a fresh cartridge on hand.

    its printer ink and you do not have a choice since it is the only cartridge that fits the machine with that being said the product works as advertised and lasts a while though it is a bit expensive
