I am a big fan of buying OEM and not aftermarket. The extened toner cartridge is the way to go. This printer is just for home needs, so i buy this toner once every 2-3 years and never has issues. Another plus is the return shipping label via USPS to return the old one to recycle instead of throwing it away in the trash.

Laser printing is the way to go for cheap volume printing of black and white images, but crisp clean lines and great detail.
