    the printer i purchased came with a cartridge but of much smaller size. this is lasting much much longer and i am happy with it thus far. hopefully it will continue its usefullness for some time...

    Even though the printer is very cheap for features and quality the ink cartridges do not print as many pages per cartridges. I would expect around 4000 pages per $40 toner cartridge.
