Before you change your Brother toner cartridge, give it a shake a few times and put it back in before you buy a new one. You may get 100 copies before you really need to replace it. My printer said my toner was low when in fact I got plenty more copies before I couldn't see any ink on the page.

There are two different prices for these toner cartridges. This particular one lasts longer with more obviously more pages to print. Well worth it.

I am a big fan of buying OEM and not aftermarket. The extened toner cartridge is the way to go. This printer is just for home needs, so i buy this toner once every 2-3 years and never has issues. Another plus is the return shipping label via USPS to return the old one to recycle instead of throwing it away in the trash.

Picked up the high yield toner because it has a 2600 page yield. Definitely worth it and much less expensive than buying ink cartridges!
