    It's toner, it worked right away after the test page. I bought the TN 660 vs the 630 (better value, more yield). Toner in general is expensive but Brother pricing isn't bad. The box came with a shipping label to send back your old toner for recycling. Pretty cool.

    U get ur money's worth. Have 1 in my other printer, which is a Brother HL-2140. In my new printer, which is the Brother HL-2390dw, I haven't used the high-yield toner yet because I still have the standard toner to use up. My new printer is terrific and I'm very happy with it. Just for the record, my HL-2140 still works great and I have it as a backup. I bought it new 5 years ago. Go Brother.
