I print very few 'dark' prints. Mostly, I print letters, recipes, and e-mails. I don't know what I could do differently. The print is sharp.

Generally, the printing quality is consistently good- no smudging or staining pages. However, I don't think I ever managed to get 1200 pages out of one cartridge though, as it claims. Even with just basic document printing. But you get what you pay for. It won't disappoint.
