    The cartridge arrived promptly. Once I figured out which door to open on the printer, I could follow the picture instructions on how to install the toner cartridge.

    This is as described but there is no way this is 1200 sheet paper toner, maybe 500-600. I have not gone through one package of paper yet and that is 500 sheets so their estimate is way off. Buyer beware because it's not the "deal" that you are expecting....

      Hello, stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. Third-party cartridges sold as “compatible” for Brother printers may not strictly adhere to the ISO Standard to determine their advertised page yields, therefore they may not be comparable to Brother Genuine cartridges. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.     Worth the cost, lasts a long time. Just bought my first replacement, the one that came with the printer lasted for hundreds and hundreds of pages. It's worth it to purchase the printer and this toner in my opinion. I just wish it were a smidge cheaper.
