Posted .Hello, stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.

The problem came when I needed another printer cartridge. The printer cartridge would no longer work in the printer. The workers tried their best to make it work but nothing worked. The worst part of this was that Bestbuy stopped selling the printer, so I had to buy another printer. Always get a extended warranty a new printer cost me a lot less.

Genuine Brother toner cartridges are produced with a specific amount of toner to yield the following:
TN Starter Toner - approx. 700 pages
TN730 Standard Toner - approx. 1,200 pages*
TN760 High Yield Toner - approx. 3,000 pages*
*The approximate toner yield is in accordance with ISO/IEC 19752.
The number of pages that can be printed with a toner cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). It's important to remember that a typical printed document is one letter-size (8.5" x 11") page with 4% - 5% print coverage.

Misleading page quantity

I use this printer for work and can confidently say it was lucky to maybe have reach 1500 before needing replaced. Very disappointed in the quality from Brothers after ready such great reviews.

It still said low toner, so I ordered more ink to determine if this was the copier or the ink, and the new ink worked, so this told me the ink I received was no good

Crummy!

I got black lines down one side of each page. - Ok. I gave-up. And paid $85 for this Brother cartridge. . . - Crummy! . . . . The Brother-pages "still" had a black line. . . . . - I had to use a paper-cutter to chop off hundreds of pages that were due. (They "still" looked a mess when I filed them electronically.)

Using non-Brother supplies may affect the hardware performance, print quality and machine reliability. The Brother limited warranty may not apply to any problem that is caused by the use of third-party supplies.
