    Laser jet printer vs inkjet is a great improvement if you do not need color printing. This cartridge lasts about. 2 years with moderate use.

    The price is high compare to the compatible brands. I bought a compatible toner catridge and installed in my Brother MFC printer, the machine showed up Not detec the toner, I had to switch the chip from the empty Brother toner catridge to other brand new toner catridge, but the new catridge only worked half of it's life. looks like Brother company made a tricky program on the chip to provent customers use other brand catridges.

    We just put this in the printer; so can't say about longevity. However, replacing the toner cartridge was very easy with the provided colored-labels.

    I have a Brother printer and like to use the Brother brand toner. The toner has performed exactly as expected and provided crisp blacks for the expected duration of time (and number of pages). Will continue to purchase this printer cartridge as long as I have my current Brother printer.

    Easy to remove the old and replace with new. Brother will even help you ship the old one back so all the cassette and hopefully packing materials can be reused or recycled.
