    I have never used non brother toner in my machine but i don’t think there is a reason tk try the others since this cartridge lasts for years in my home setting. Mostly kids making photocopies of their toys arojnd here but still last a long time.

    I won’t buy ink from Amazon or any off brands because you never really know what you’re getting. I’d rather at the extra for a real brother cartridge and from a brick and mortar store if I can.

    I bought the printer this is for in early 2021 and still have toner in it and I’ve used it a lot and it’s a smaller cartidge than this one. I should be good for years with this.

    I have tried may off-brand toners in the past and learned the cheaper price is not normally worth it. I hate paying the price for the name brand, but I use these in an office environment with constant printing and they last a lot longer than the generic ones and don't seem to leak toner all over inside the printer like many of the off-brand ones.
